Operation QUICSILVER Targets Myanmar Government and IT Sectors with QUICAgent Backdoor

Seqrite Labs has identified a cyber espionage campaign codenamed Operation QUICSILVER targeting Myanmar's government and information technology sectors. The threat actor, assessed with moderate confidence as China-nexus, uses graduation ceremony invitation lures to deliver a Go-based backdoor named QUICAgent. The campaign was first reported in August 2026.
