P7 DarkSword iOS Exploit Kit Introduces Crypto Theft and Two-Way C2 Communication

Researchers from iVerify have disclosed details of a previously unseen variant of the DarkSword iOS exploit kit, tracked as P7 DarkSword. The variant is notable for reducing its on-device footprint while introducing on-device keychain and cryptocurrency wallet theft, as well as enabling two-way command-and-control (C2) communication with the attacker's infrastructure. The report was published by iVerify on Thursday.
