Australian Signals Directorate Disrupts Amadey Malware Backend, Securing 180,000 Infected Computers

The Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) gained access to the backend infrastructure of the Amadey malware operation and disconnected the criminal controller from approximately 180,000 infected computers worldwide. The intervention prevents ongoing remote access and data theft from the affected systems, including some located in Australia.
